Background
The research and its industrial applications of data mining are rapidly emerging. Especially, the research activity and applications in Asian countries including Vietnam is expected to break out in near future. Under this situation, we are pleased to announce to have a Joint Workshop of Vietnamese Society of AI (Artificial Intelligence), SIGKBS-JSAI (Special Interest Group on Knowledge Based Systems of Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence), ICS-IPSJ (Intelligence and Complex Systems of Information Processing Society of Japan) and IEICE-SIGAI (Special Interested Group of Artificial Intelligence and Knowledge Processing of The Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers).

Main Topics of Workshop
Principle and Method for Data Mining, Machine Learning and Statistics,
Active Data Mining Approach and Environment,
Application of Data Mining and Active Mining,
System for Data Mining and Active Mining
and some related topics.

IMPORTANT DATES
Paper Submission Deadline : 5th, November, 2004
Workshop Dates : 4th-7th, December, 2004

Participation Fee
Free (Nonmember of SIGKBS, ICS and SIGAI will be charged small amount of proceeding fee.)

no later than 5th, November, 2004 to
